Lifeboat Marketing's website content management system (WCMS) is not like most others; there's not a mass of management pages to configure, and you won't see a basic content editor on a blank page!

Our WCMS is a great solution for static websites. Your website is built by adding multiple zones or areas. Zones can be dragged around and assigned a design, images, text, widgets, sound and movies. Zones can be stacked on top of each other and ordered by depth.

Your website is built via three sections;

Design Area
The design area displays all the common design elements of the website, this may include a generic header and footer design for example. Every web page you create would display these zones.

Layout Area
You can create as many layout's as you wish at no extra charge. The layout area displays all of the generic design area zones by default. You can then add further zones to the layout to build a unique design. Layouts can then be assigned to one or more web pages.

Web Page Area
Create as many web pages as you need, there's no limit and it's free. After you assign an existing layout to the web page, you will see the complete 'design', 'layout design' and all other zones that you created. Now you can click into each unassigned zone and add your web page content, widgets and flash etc.

As the whole website is made up of zones ( areas), you can very quickly change any part of the design or web page layouts. Furthermore web page content changes are all managed through each zone placement via a generic editor.

You can then preview a working copy in real-time, an exact web page preview or a complete website preview. Once your happy with the changes you click the publish button to update the live website. Published website backups are created automatically, just incase you need to roll back your work.

A Google sitemap and Google analytics integration literally takes seconds to implement. Simply copy your unique account code to the text boxes, save and publish. The system will automatically configure each web page and add the relevant code.

Please remember that once your website has been designed and setup, you or a member of your team can easily change every element of the website and web pages at no extra cost!
